6pm at Bureau Oberhaeuser
Kampstraße 15, Hamburg
Bureau Oberhaeuser invites you to the event ‘Bureau Gespräche’, taking place at the firm’s premises in Hamburg’s creative neighborhood ‘Schanzenviertel’. Join us when we discuss the latest trends and projects of the creative and design industry with our international guests. The event’s theme will be ‘random decisions’.
A person makes several thousand decisions per day. Yet how self-determined are these? The oxymoron ‘random decision’ suggests that despite our beliefs many of life’s choices are heavily influenced by chance. In reference to their own careers, our three speakers will tell us why this may actually be a good thing.
We look forward to seeing you after the event for drinks and discussions.
Chief Creative Officer & Co-owner
MUTABOR
Heinrich grew up in Paris. After graduating from high school in Germany, he studied communication design at Muthesius Art College in Kiel. In 1993, he founded the magazine “MUTABOR” along with fellow classmates. His friendship and collaboration with Johannes Plass made the magazine internationally famous and them inseparable. More joint projects for clients in Hamburg and Munich followed and led to the foundation of the design studio MUTABOR in 1998.
To this day, the two founders Paravicini and Plass run the Hamburg based agency together.
MUTABOR employs about 100 people and is specialized on brand presence and performance in all dimensions. Their client list includes Audi, Bundesliga, Clariant, Daimler, and Deutsche Telekom among others.
Since 2012, Heinrich is presidium member of the ADC Germany. He serves as juror for multiple national and international awards (ADC Europe, Eurobest, D&AD, Cannes Lions among others), is speaker for events (e.g. European Design Congress in Barcelona and Athen, TYPO) as well as founder, curator and host of the annual congress “ADC Design Experience” in Stuttgart.

Bureau Gespräche [= ‘bureau talks’] are just that - a friendly chat between members of the creative, design and tech industry. We believe that Hamburg is not only an amazing city to live in, but also a great place to meet exciting, innovative and creative people. Since we do not want these meetings to stay chance encounters, we decided to create a space for people to come together in a relaxed environment and exchange news of the latest developments and projects. Speakers from Germany and the US will start off the event series by depicting their own career paths in reference to the theme ‘random decisions’.
